An application for a doctorate includes:

  • A host research team from the College of Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH)

                -          Arts, Langages, Transitions et Relations (ALTER)

                -          Institut d’Études Ibériques et Iberico-Americaines (DICE-IE2IA)

                -          Institut Fédératif de Recherches sur les Transitions Juridiques (IFTJ)

                -          Identités, Territoires, Expressions, Mobilités (ITEM)

                -          Laboratoire Mouvement, Équilibre, Performance et Santé (MEPS)

                -          Transitions Énergétiques et Environnementales (TREE)

                -          Institut de Recherche sur l'Architecture Antique (IRAA)

 

Or a host research team from the College of Cross-border, European & International Studies (EEI):

                -          Centre de Documentation et de Recherches Européennes (CDRE)

                -          Centre de Recherche sur la langue et les textes basques (IKER)

                -          Laboratoire de Recherche et de Management (LIREM)

 

 

  • A PhD supervisor.
  • An original thesis subject in line with the scientific strategy of the host research unit and, more generally, that of the UPPA, which defines its scientific identity in terms of five interdisciplinary missions closely linked to societal challenges (see diagram below).
  • Proposed funding or evidence that the candidate will be able to benefit from the material and financial conditions necessary for the successful completion of the thesis.
